William Brown

Dr. Brown was an entomologist, whose concerns included insecticide resistance to pesticides. Carson cited his work extensively in Chap. 16 of Silent Spring.

Be sure to review Chaps. 1-2,7,9,15-16 in Silent Spring. You should be able to comment on Carson's credibility (for example, did she represent your work fairly?!), and the problem of insecticide resistance.
