Ira L. Baldwin
Baldwin was on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He chaired the NRC Committee on Pest Control and Wildlife Relations. He reviewed Silent Spring in the prestigious Science magazine.
Be sure to review Chaps. 1-3,5-10 of Silent Spring. You should be able to comment on Carson's credibility, benefits and harms of pesticides, and indiscriminate use (including worker safety).
